I was born and raised in a Christian home. Church has always been a significant part of my life. Both the youth group at the Bowie Church of Christ in Bowie, MD and Camp WaMaVa in Front Royal, VA had a significant impact on my life and helped to shape who I am. I decided after graduating high school that I wanted to be a Youth & Family Minister, so I could be a positive influence on other young people the way so many had influenced me. I attended Abilene Christian Univeristy in Abilene, TX and graduated in May of 1994 with a B.S. in Youth & Family Ministry. I married my wife, Treneé, in June of 1994. We had Abigail in 1996 and Stephen in 1997. I spent 12 years working as a full-time Youth & Family Minister from 1994-2006. I ministered at the Royal Oak Church of Christ in Royal Oak, MI, at the Lapeer Church of Christ in Lapeer, MI, and at the Waterbury Church of Christ in Waterbury, CT. Due to some hardships and blessings I relocated to Spokane, WA. I now work for the State of Washington to pay bills and I preach at the Valley Church of Christ in Spokane Valley part-time.
